Every firearm is treated as loaded at all times. Muzzle direction, trigger discipline, and target awareness are non-negotiable throughout every session. No exceptions.
All training takes place at established commercial or licensed ranges. All participants must comply with both the instructor's directives and the host range's rules at all times.
All participants must complete and sign a liability waiver before any session begins. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian present and sign on their behalf.
Training content does not constitute legal advice. Clients are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm ownership, storage, carry, and use. Consult an attorney for legal questions.
The instructor reserves the right to suspend or end any session if a participant exhibits unsafe behavior, refuses instruction, or creates risk for others. Safety always takes precedence.

Not necessarily. Some classes can be conducted without a personal firearm — contact us ahead of your booking to discuss options. For live-fire courses, participants will need access to a safe, functioning firearm appropriate for the course content.
Training takes place at established commercial ranges throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia, Maryland, and eastern North Carolina. Each course booking page includes the specific range location.
Eye and ear protection are required at all ranges (some ranges provide rentals). Bring your firearm (if applicable), appropriate ammunition per the class description, your completed liability waiver (unless you already submitted one online), your photo ID, and a positive attitude! Closed-toe shoes and practical clothing are strongly recommended.
Yes, our Concealed Carry course satisfies Virginia's training requirement for a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) application and includes both classroom instruction and live-fire range qualification. Unlike some permit courses, students demonstrate safe firearm handling and shooting competency before completing the program.
For safety reasons, pregnant participants are not permitted on live-fire ranges. If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please contact us before booking so we can discuss alternatives, non-live-fire options, or rescheduling.
Students must be legally eligible to possess and use firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws. Individuals prohibited from possessing firearms, including certain convicted felons, persons subject to qualifying protective or restraining orders, and others prohibited by law, may not participate unless their firearm rights have been lawfully restored. If you are unsure of your eligibility, consult an attorney before registering.
Absolutely. The Basic Handgun and Multi-tier Instruction courses are specifically designed for people with little or no prior experience. No prior knowledge is required, and the environment is welcoming and non-intimidating.
